Types of Calibration

Static Calibration

Static ADAS calibration is carried out with the vehicle stationary in a controlled workshop environment using physical target boards and alignment rigs. This process is required following windscreen replacements, front-end bodywork repairs, or sensor replacements where precise positioning is essential. Certified technicians use OEM protocols to ensure the vehicle’s safety systems are aligned to exact manufacturer standards.

Dynamic Calibration

Dynamic ADAS calibration is completed by driving the vehicle on public roads under specific speeds and driving conditions while connected to a diagnostic tool. This method is mandated by vehicle manufacturers following wheel alignments, suspension work, or camera replacements that require live road learning. The system actively calibrates sensors in real time using clear road markings and surrounding vehicle data.

Static vs Dynamic Calibrations

In-Workshop Target ADAS Calibration

Static ADAS calibration is carried out in a controlled workshop using precision target boards, making it essential following windscreen replacements, front-end repairs, or sensor replacements.

On-Road Live ADAS Calibration
